Pulcherie learned to bake short bread cookies on one of her visits to the US. Cathy Hoffman had this amazing idea to help bring ongoing finances into the Exodus House by baking and selling the cookies locally in Benin, at market. Within the last 5 years the bakery has supplied funds to feed and school the children. This last year, the bakery had to shut down due to Exodus's kitchen burning down.
